I’ll get to an actual game recap shortly…but first, this.
If you follow my Twitter account @highheelshockey, then you know I was live tweeting from the game last night and saw what transpired.
The Penguins game versus the then top team in the league Dallas Stars was one of the most exciting hockey games I have attended in a very long time (save for game 1 of the playoffs last season). The two top teams in the league, each the top in their conference facing off. This was James Neal and Matt Niskanen’s first time playing their old team, as well as the Pens first time seeing Alex Goligoski since the trade.
Perfect atmosphere for a good game. Except for this…
This couple thought it would be fun to make out for the entire game. Intermissions were far worse than during actual game play. Dirty talk going on as whispers exchanged back and forth in each other’s ears. Lots of tongue action and just general inappropriateness for a family atmosphere and for public.
Cambria Suites was right next door folks. It would have been more suitable than paying $125 a seat (I know. I’ve purchased tickets from the lady that owns these two seats already this season.) to sit there and gross out the people around you.
I expected such actions from teenagers, but not from a couple who were clearly in their late 20s-early 30s.
I’ve been on dates to a game. We didn’t act like this. I’ve had an arm around me at the game by a guy but we didn’t kiss or anything else. It is NOT the time or place. They should be ashamed of themselves. It wasn’t a quick peck here or here. It was full on making out.
Come on. This is just embarrassing.
