About/Contact

High Heeled Hockey Mom is formerly a Pittsburgh Penguins fan blog turned personal blog of a sports mom.

This blog will cover my adventures as a mother new to the world of having a son who plays multiple sports. I played softball growing up, but now I am getting a glimpse into life on the other side!

My blogs will cover daily events and blurbs about what may have happened at practice, helpful tips that I learn along the way, equipment, programs in the Pittsburgh area, safety concerns, and general fitness tips for parents on the go and how to incorporate healthy living into your parent-child relationship.

The most important aspect of this blog is stressing the quality time and memories that you can and will create with your child as they move through athletic programs.

I also have a shoe obsession so the shoe part of the site will remain as well! (Nothing wrong with being a fashionable mother who happens to love sports!)
